Kids Tennis Lessons & Summer Camps

If you’re looking to introduce your child to a sport, tennis is a great option for many reasons. It’s equally mental as it is physical, therefore promoting both strong psychological and physiological development.

The primary school and early-secondary school years are a crucial time during which children acquire coordination and complex technical skills.

Tennis in particular provides countless physical benefits for children of this age. It develops their hand-eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills, all the while building speed, agility, balance and flexibility.

Tennis is also a great sport for teaching children sportsmanship, honesty and integrity – it’s one of the few sports where your opponent can also be the referee. As an individual sport it also teaches children to rely on themselves to overcome obstacles as well as teaching them important life lessons. In doubles, children learn to work together and understand what it means to play as a team.

Will has worked with Gary over the past couple of years developing strategic plays but most of all Will has a natural ability to connect with Gary and give instruction to a level that Gary willingly takes on board. Gary looks up to Will and believes he is a great role model and tennis coach.

Fiona Galvin

Mother of multiple Junior Open Champion Gary Galvin, Monkstown

Having previously had tennis coaching for my sons elsewhere, I am delighted that we moved club to join Will’s classes. The kids really look forward to their lessons with Will. Apart from a high standard of coaching, he is patient and kind with  them and takes the time to get to know them all individually.

He is very fair and treats all the kids the same regardless of their ability and, importantly, makes learning tennis fun for them.

My 3 children do weekly group lessons with Will. They really enjoy it and he makes it fun while still focusing on developing their tennis skills.
